The brief for this kitchen was very simple – create a contemporary kitchen that is white and deliver a wow factor. Our challenge was to be creative with texture and design details to add impact and interest without exceeding the client’s budget.

Central to the final scheme is a tall bank of floating etched white units with frameless glass doors, providing plenty of storage space and housing all the appliances. To give the illusion of very slender units, we built out the wall so that the units appear to be only 300mm deep. The wall was then faced with grey-stained oak panels that emphasize the white of the units.

The island has a gloss white finish and is topped with a composite granite Caesarstone work surface with 60mm build-up. The stylish BORA worktop extractor system allows anyone in the kitchen a clear and uncluttered view through the window to the garden beyond, and it also makes for an inviting area where family and friends can interact.
