With extensive living, dining and entertaining areas already, the owners of this substantial period townhouse wanted their kitchen to be precisely that... a kitchen. Situated at the rear of the house, the owners were keen to have a large, modern lantern roof that would create a light and airy space. Working alongside Jody Warren of PF+A Interiors and C & S Goubert Builders, Cucine Interiors was able to realise the owners' vision for a highly functional yet inviting kitchen.

A Carrara marble worktop runs the entire length of the kitchen, the island is finished with a contrasting top in grey with flecks of mirror, sublimely complementing the silk matt lacquered grey Yara units. The heat-treated oak veneer on the tall housings and end panels effortlessly pull the kitchen together. In the tall housings Miele appliances were specified for both their aesthetic and functional qualities. The minimalist look and cool colours contrast beautifully with the contemporary Italian chandeliers that add a touch of glamour, sophistication and fun.
